About Kaziranga

Kaziranga National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site sheltering the world's largest concentration of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses — over 2,600 animals — in its vast Brahmaputra floodplain grasslands. Kaziranga also has the highest density of tigers of any protected area in the world per unit area. The annual Brahmaputra floods renew the tall elephant grass that is the foundation of the entire ecosystem.
