About Indira Gandhi (Anamalai)

Indira Gandhi National Park covers one of the most complete vertical transects of the Western Ghats, from moist deciduous forest to high-altitude grasslands. The park holds one of the largest Asian elephant populations in India and connects directly to Kerala's Parambikulam landscape. Bamboo tracking safaris give access to terrain where elephants, bison, and tigers appear against the Anamalai hills backdrop.
