About Bhitarkanika

Bhitarkanika National Park is one of India's most important coastal wetland ecosystems, sheltering the second-largest contiguous mangrove forest in the subcontinent. The park holds the world's largest known population of saltwater crocodiles and is one of only three beaches in the world where the Olive Ridley turtle mass-nests simultaneously in an event called an arribada.
