About Betla

Betla National Park is the only national park in Jharkhand and one of the original nine Project Tiger reserves in India. Situated in the Palamu district, the park's sal and mixed forests shelter a recovering tiger population. The historic 17th-century Palamu Fort rising from the forest is one of the park's most photographed landmarks.
