About Simbalbara

Simbalbara National Park in Sirmaur district protects a small but important patch of Shivalik foothill forest in the transition zone between the plains of Haryana and the Himalayan ranges. The park was upgraded from a wildlife sanctuary in 2010 and forms part of a larger forest block supporting leopards and sambar.
