About Rani Jhansi Marine
Rani Jhansi Marine National Park protects a chain of islands in the Ritchie's Archipelago north of Port Blair. The islands are fringed by extensive coral reefs, seagrass meadows, and mangrove forests. The park is named after the renowned freedom fighter Lakshmibai and is managed to protect both biodiversity and traditional fishing rights.
