About Phawngpui
Phawngpui National Park, known as the Blue Mountain, takes its name from the highest peak in Mizoram at 2157 metres. The park's cool subalpine forests and grassy slopes are the domain of the spectacular Blyth's tragopan, one of Asia's most beautiful pheasants. On clear mornings, the peak offers views deep into Myanmar over a landscape of unbroken forested hills.
