About Mudumalai

Mudumalai National Park is one of the cornerstones of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, flanked by Bandipur, Wayanad, and Nagarahole in a continuous forest block that is the largest protected landscape in peninsular India. The park's dry deciduous and moist deciduous forests are a transition zone between the Ghats and the Deccan, and the density of large mammals is extraordinary.
