About Dibru-Saikhowa

Dibru-Saikhowa National Park occupies a vast riverine island ecosystem where the Brahmaputra and Lohit rivers create a dynamic mosaic of grasslands and semi-evergreen forests. The park is the last stronghold of the endangered feral horses of Assam, descendants of animals that escaped during the colonial era.
