About Murlen

Murlen National Park in eastern Mizoram near the Myanmar border protects high-altitude subtropical forest on the Mizo Hills. Part of the larger Indo-Burmese biodiversity hotspot, the elusive clouded leopard and endangered Hoolock gibbon inhabit the dense forest, and the park records a high diversity of subtropical birds.
